New Minden, IL

New Minden is a village in Washington County, Illinois, United States. The 2020 census counted 175 residents. New Minden possessed a post office from 1868 to 1976. At approximately noon on November 17, 2013, an EF4 tornado ripped through the town. The short version is that New Minden carries an earlier story into the places people know and use now.
