New Paris is a quiet, tight-knit community in southern Elkhart County, offering peaceful small-town living surrounded by northern Indiana farmland. Established in the 1830s, the town is home to around 1,600 residents who enjoy a relaxed pace of life just a few minutes south of Goshen. At the heart of the community is Sunnyside Park, a favorite local gathering spot featuring a fishing pond, playground, picnic pavilion, and veterans memorials.
