New Waterford, OH

New Waterford got its start in the 1850s as a railroad stop in Columbiana County, quickly growing into a hub for local mills and carriage makers. Originally known as Bull Creek, the village was eventually renamed after Waterford, Ireland, as more families settled along the tracks. That history gives the community a quiet, grounded character shaped by its roots as an early trade center.
