Newnan, GA

Located about forty miles southwest of Atlanta along Interstate 85, Newnan combines deep Georgia history with the energy of a growing suburban community. Often called the "City of Homes," it was spared from major destruction during the Civil War, leaving behind an exceptional collection of nineteenth-century architecture and quiet, tree-lined streets. At the heart of town is a classic courthouse square, but surrounding that historic core is a rapidly expanding city of more than 45,000 residents. Out past the center, modern shopping corridors and new residential developments give newcomers plenty of convenience while keeping the small-town charm intact.
