Nikolaevsk, AK

Nikolaevsk is a small census-designated place in the Kenai Peninsula Borough, known for its Russian Old Believer roots. The community was settled around 1968 by Old Believers from Oregon and remains one of Alaska's more distinctive small settlements. It sits on the lower Kenai Peninsula, surrounded by rural roads, forest, and river country.
