Nimmons, AR

Nimmons is a very small Clay County town in northeastern Arkansas, about a mile west of the St. Francis River and the Missouri state line. It began in 1901 as a stop on the St. Louis, Kennett and Southeastern Railroad and was named for a railroad worker. The town is served by the Piggott School District. Nimmons feels like a railroad-era Delta settlement...
