North Bellport, NY

North Bellport developed in the early 1950s as a suburban community for working families, many of whom were employed at nearby aviation plants. Over the following decades, the hamlet grew into a diverse neighborhood with a distinct identity of its own. While it faced economic hurdles and shifting housing dynamics in the mid-twentieth century, the area has maintained a strong local spirit. Today, it offers some of the more accessible home prices in Suffolk County, attracting buyers who want single-family houses, generous yard space, and convenient access to the South Shore.

Getting around is straightforward thanks to Station Road, which serves as the neighborhood's main north-south corridor.
