Located in the Town of Merton, North Lake is a quiet pocket of Waukesha County’s Lake Country. The area first grew around 19th-century mills along the Oconomowoc River and later expanded as a local railroad stop. Today, it has settled into a relaxed community where residential roads wind past mature trees and open water. Highway 83 runs right through town, making it easy to head south toward Hartland and Delafield or connect to the rest of the greater Milwaukee area.
