North Mankato, MN

North Mankato is a city in Nicollet and Blue Earth counties, set on the north bank of the Minnesota River across from Mankato. The river relationship is the simplest way to understand the place: North Mankato is separate, but closely linked to the larger city to the south. It has multiple schools, residential neighborhoods, parks, and bluff-area views that give it its own daily rhythm. North Mankato feels quieter and more residential than Mankato, but still fully part of the same regional center.
