North Randall, OH

North Randall is a Cuyahoga County village in Cleveland’s southern metro, incorporated in 1908 after the Cleveland & Mahoning Railroad reached the area in the 1850s. The old Randall Park Mall opened in 1976, closed in 2009, and was replaced on the site by an Amazon distribution center in 2018. The 2020 census counted 954 residents. That sequence—railroad, regional mall, warehouse—gives the village an unusually visible record of how suburban work and shopping have changed.

Village hall on Northfield Road handles permits, fines, emergency contacts, council business, and resident directories. The village also works with Amazon on community events, including a 2026 look at Prime Air’s drone-delivery plans. Warrensville Heights City School District serves North Randall through elementary, middle, and high school campuses, and a shared-services agreement links the village with Warrensville Heights, Highland Hills, and the school district. Randall Park remains the key local name, but daily life now runs through school schedules, warehouse shifts, council notices, and the larger Cleveland road network.
