North Walpole, NH

North Walpole sits right along the Connecticut River, directly across the water from Bellows Falls, Vermont. While it is part of the larger town of Walpole, this small riverside village has a distinct neighborhood feel of its own. Route 12 runs straight through, making it easy to travel south to Walpole's main village green or head north toward Charlestown. For newcomers, it offers a quiet New Hampshire address with quick access to Vermont right over the bridge.

Because North Walpole connects directly to Bellows Falls via the river crossings, you get the perks of both communities. A quick trip across the water puts you near local restaurants, bakeries, independent shops, and the Amtrak station. Back on the New Hampshire side, the streets are quiet and residential, with pleasant views along the river and plenty of surrounding greenery. It makes for an easy, comfortable home base in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.
