Northfield is a scenic river town about 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities, shaped by its two prestigious schools: Carleton College to the east and St. Olaf College up on the western hill. In between sits a charming, walkable downtown along the Cannon River, packed with local coffee shops, historic storefronts, and Bridge Square.
