About Norton

Norton is a city in southwestern Summit County, Ohio, situated within the Akron metropolitan area. First organized as a township in 1818, the community of approximately 11,524 is home to the Wolf Creek Players theater group and hosts the annual Apple Cider Festival each September. Public education is administered by the Norton City School District, and the community is served by a branch of the local public library.
