Norwood, OH

Norwood is a Hamilton County city completely surrounded by Cincinnati, which makes it an enclave with its own government and a deeply urban-suburban feel. Its older history includes Native American artifacts found around the area and a mound that has never been excavated. Norwood later became a dense industrial and residential city, and that older working-city texture still shows in its streets, schools, churches, and commercial corridors. It is close to Cincinnati's core, but politically and locally its own place.
