Occoquan, VA

Tucked along the south bank of the Occoquan River, Occoquan grew around eighteenth-century flour mills and bustling river trade. Much of that past is still part of daily life in the town's compact historic core. A walk down Mill Street takes you past preserved brick storefronts, scenic river overlooks, and historic landmarks like the Mill House and Rockledge, giving the neighborhood a quiet, established charm.
