Ohlman, IL

Ohlman is a tiny, peaceful village in northeastern Montgomery County, originally named for a nineteenth-century steamboat captain who settled here to farm. Life here is quiet and distinctly rural, surrounded by open central Illinois farmland along Route 16. With only about a hundred residents, it has a simple, small-town atmosphere, while everyday essentials, dining, and schools are just a short drive down the road in neighboring Nokomis and Pana.
