Omao sits in the lush hills between Lawai and Koloa, offering a quiet, countryside feel without being isolated. Driving along Omao Road, you will pass small farms, fruit trees, and homes with spacious yards and valley views. It is noticeably greener and calmer than the resort areas, yet Route 50 runs right along the north side for an easy 15-minute drive into Lihue. Living here gives you plenty of breathing room while keeping the beaches, groceries, and dining in Poipu and Koloa just a short drive down the hill.
