About Orange

Orange is a deep-water port city and the county seat of Orange County, Texas, situated on the Sabine River along the Louisiana border. Founded in 1836 as Greens Bluff, the easternmost city in Texas has a population of approximately 19,200. The community is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area and is home to the Stark Museum of Art, a campus of Lamar State College, and the historic World War II destroyer USS Orleck.
