Orchard Mesa is a census-designated place in Mesa County, Colorado, situated on the southeast side of the city of Grand Junction. Bordered to the north by the Colorado River and to the southwest by the Gunnison River, the agricultural and residential community of approximately 6,945 is served by the Grand Junction post office. Public education is administered by Mesa County Valley School District 51.
