Orosi, CA

Orosi is a census-designated place in Tulare County, California, situated in the San Joaquin Valley. Founded in 1888 and named after the Spanish word for gold due to the fields of golden poppies, the community of approximately 8,966 features the historic Orosi Branch Library. Public education is served by the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District.
