Oscarville is a Bethel Census Area CDP with 70 residents and 31 housing units in the 2020 Census. The small Kuskokwim community sits downriver from Bethel and is served by Qugcuun Memorial School, a K-12 campus that combines English education with Yupik language and culture. Salmon harvest remains part of the area's economic life, and Oscarville lies in the Lower Kuskokwim salmon fishing district. The village's school and river economy give its small Census boundary a distinct southwestern Alaska setting.
