About Oswego

Oswego is the county seat of Oswego County, New York, situated at the mouth of the Oswego River on Lake Ontario. Established as a British trading post in 1722, the Port City of approximately 17,033 is home to the State University of New York at Oswego and historically hosted the secure Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter. Public education is served by the Oswego City School District.
