Oxbow Estates, AZ

Oxbow Estates is a quiet, tucked-away neighborhood about four miles south of Payson, right off the Beeline Highway (State Route 87). Turning onto West Oxbow Trail leads into a spread of homes on larger, private lots framed by native pines, scrub oak, and seasonal creek beds. It is strictly residential with no local commercial strip, so residents look to Payson proper for grocery runs, local dining, medical care, and community events.

Families are part of the Payson Unified School District, so kids head into town for classes and after-school sports. The neighborhood offers a great setup if you want extra space, quiet nights, and cooler mountain air while staying within a ten-minute drive of town amenities. Being on the south side of Payson also gives you a convenient head start on the drive down to the Phoenix Valley whenever you need to visit the city or catch a flight.
