About Pace

Pace is an unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County, in the western Florida Panhandle just north of Escambia Bay. It is closely tied to the Pensacola area, but its setting gives it more of a suburban and exurban feel than the city itself. Pace first appeared in the 1912 United States Census, and public schools are administered by the Santa Rosa County School District. The community has grown with families looking for Panhandle access, local schools, and a location between Pensacola, Milton, and the bay.
