About Page

Page is a small Coconino County city near Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, and the Colorado River. It was founded in 1957 as a housing community for workers building the dam, so the town's origin is unusually direct: infrastructure first, city second. Today Page is a base for some of northern Arizona's biggest scenery, including Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Horseshoe Bend, and trips toward Antelope Canyon. It feels remote, scenic, and deeply tied to water in the desert.
