Located just south of Oroville in Northern California's Butte County, Palermo is a quiet, rural community of about 5,500 people. Named after the Sicilian city for its sunny, Mediterranean climate, the area has long-standing agricultural roots filled with olive groves, fruit orchards, and open acreage.
