About Palm Valley

The Intracoastal Waterway is an everyday public edge in Palm Valley, not just a line on the map. At 383 South Roscoe Boulevard, the county's Palm Valley East Boat Ramp provides a single launch, a dock with a floating section, parking, and portable restrooms from dawn to dusk. The waterway also becomes a civic route each December. St. Johns County describes the annual Palm Valley Boat Parade as a procession covering more than seven miles, with hundreds of decorated docks, restaurants, and designated viewing points. In 2024 the county added a free shuttle and a public viewing site under the Palm Valley Bridge. Another public cluster sits at 101 Library Boulevard, a Ponte Vedra Beach postal address that the Census geocoder likewise assigns to Palm Valley.

The library opens seven days a week and includes a meeting room and Friends-run used-book store. In July 2026 its Children's Cove reopened after the branch's first major renovation in three decades, adding flexible seating, expanded shelving, interactive learning areas, and improved visibility; community donations through the Friends group funded the nearly $500,000 project. Directly behind the library, Bird Island Park interprets northeast Florida's dune and wetland ecosystems through native plantings, signs, and interactive art, with a boardwalk, playground, picnic tables, and two gazebos.
