About Pandora
Pandora is a Putnam County village on Riley Creek, with a name that arrived after the place had already been called Columbia and Pendleton. The Riley Township history reaches back to 1832, when Thomas Gray built the first settler's log cabin; Swiss immigrant Michael Neuenschwander followed in 1833. The Riley Creek Festival and Ted Fest give the creek its annual turn, while Suter Produce keeps the town's farm side visible with strawberries, sweet corn, cider, and a fall corn maze. Pandora is an Ohio village where a creek, old variant names, and four generations of produce make a tidy local story.
