Paragonah, UT

Set just east of Interstate 15 in southern Utah, Paragonah is a quiet rural town sitting at the base of the mountains. With around 500 residents, it lies four miles north of Parowan and roughly twenty minutes from Cedar City. The area originally grew around Red Creek in the 1850s as a farming settlement, and that open, agricultural character still shapes the community today, with generous lot sizes, calm streets, and broad valley views.

Day-to-day life here is relaxed and low-key. Aside from the town hall, a local park, and a few small businesses, Paragonah is primarily residential, so most people make the short drive to neighboring towns for work, schools, and groceries. What you get in return is plenty of elbow room, dark night skies, and quick access to Red Creek Canyon for outdoor recreation. It is an appealing choice for anyone looking for quiet country living within an easy drive of everyday conveniences.
