About Parowan

Parowan is a historic city and the county seat of Iron County, Utah, situated at the mouth of Parowan Canyon. Incorporated in 1851 as an agricultural support base for the regional iron industry and overlooked by the landmark Valentine Peak, the community of approximately 3,165 is served by the Iron County School District for public education.
