Parrott, GA

Parrott is a town in Terrell County, Georgia, United States. The 2020 census counted 158 residents. Parrott is part of the Albany, Georgia metropolitan statistical area. Parrott was founded in the 1860s by James and John L. Parts of the 1980 western film The Long Riders were filmed in Parrot, notably the "Northfield" scene. Artrain USA visited Parrott in 1976, one of the few non-metropolitan stops on its journey. Parrott makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap.
