About Pasadena Park

Pasadena Park is a St. Louis County village in Normandy Township, incorporated in 1935 after beginning life under the name Los Angeles. That earlier name referred to the California bungalow style common in the first half of the twentieth century, a clue to the village's residential beginnings. Today it sits in the dense inner-ring landscape northwest of St. Louis, close to Normandy, Pasadena Hills, Bel-Nor, and the highways that carry traffic through the county along its older street grid.

The village belongs to the Normandy Schools Collaborative, whose schools serve the surrounding 24:1 municipal partnership area. Normandy High School is the district's comprehensive high school, and the district's early-childhood work has included a center in Pasadena Park. Local government, village ordinances, and shared police and court arrangements with Normandy fill in the practical map. Pasadena Park is small, but its setting is thoroughly metropolitan: a bungalow-era village with its own name and boundaries, linked to neighboring municipalities for schools, policing, courts, and everyday errands.
