About Pauls Valley

Pauls Valley is a city and the county seat of Garvin County, Oklahoma, situated at the confluence of Rush Creek and the Washita River. Founded in 1847 by pioneer Smith Paul who established a plantation on rich bottomland, the agricultural and oil-producing community of approximately 6,062 is served by the Pauls Valley School District locally.
