Pease, MN

Pease is a quiet, tiny community in southern Mille Lacs County, sitting about an hour north of the Twin Cities. Home to around 240 residents, it offers a peaceful rural setting surrounded by open farmland and quiet streets. U.S. Highway 169 runs along the east side of town, putting Milaca just four miles to the north and Princeton about ten miles south.

Because Pease is so small, everyday essentials like schools, healthcare, and larger grocery stores are handled in neighboring towns. In exchange, residents get a calm, tight-knit neighborhood feel with virtually no traffic. The direct highway access also makes it a convenient home base for commuters who work in larger hubs to the south while preferring a slower pace of life.
