Perry, LA

Located just south of Abbeville along the Vermilion River, Perry is a quiet community that first started as a river crossing in the early 1800s. Back then, it was known as Perry’s Bridge and briefly served as the area's first parish seat before Abbeville took over. Today, Highway 82 runs right through town, giving residents a relaxed place to live near the water with quick access to neighboring schools, local dining, and everything Vermilion Parish has to offer.
