About Piermont

Piermont is a village in the town of Orangetown, Rockland County, New York, situated on the west bank of the Hudson River. Incorporated in 1847 and historically known as Tappan Landing, the community of approximately 2,514 features a historic pedestrian drawbridge that links to the adjacent Tallman Mountain State Park. Public education is served by the South Orangetown Central School District.
