About Pike Road

Pike Road is a Montgomery County town on the eastern edge of Alabama's capital city. It was founded in 1815 but incorporated much later, in 1997, which gives it a newer municipal feel despite older settlement roots. U.S. Routes 82 and 231 pass through as Troy Highway, connecting Pike Road back to Montgomery and southeast toward Union Springs and Troy. The town is part of the Montgomery metro, with a growing residential profile and a local school story that reaches back to Pike Road Consolidated School.
