Outdoor recreation is a major draw, with trail routes winding through Sawmill Canyon and climbing toward Hualapai Peak. Many of the paths date back to the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, offering day hikes past historic mining sites and mountain overlooks. When you need groceries, dining, or healthcare, Hualapai Mountain Road leads straight downhill into Kingman, giving residents a secluded mountain setting within an easy drive of town.
