Pine Lakes, FL

Pine Lakes is an unincorporated census-designated place in northeastern Lake County, Florida, within the Orlando–Kissimmee metropolitan area. The 2020 census counted 818 residents. The CDP includes three named communities—Pine Lakes, South Pine Lakes, and Florida Hills—so its map is made from several neighborhood identities under one census boundary. The area sits in the lake-rich, pine-covered country of Central Florida, where county roads and subdivision streets thread between water and open ground.

Because Pine Lakes is unincorporated, Lake County handles the larger civic framework. County planning places the community in a landscape shaped by water management, rural-transition land, and the pressure of growth around Orlando. Lake County Fire Rescue Station 15 serves the area near Eustis, and First Baptist Church-Pine Lakes is one of the visible institutions inside the CDP.
