Pinehurst, GA

Pinehurst is a quiet, close-knit community of around 550 residents tucked into central Georgia's Dooly County. Named for the towering pine stands that surround it, the town originally grew along the railroad in the late 19th century and has kept its peaceful, rural character ever since. Getting around is easy, with U.S. Route 41 running straight through the center of town and Interstate 75 just a couple of minutes to the east.

Covering roughly one square mile, Pinehurst is framed by open fields, pecan groves, and timberland. While the community itself is small and mostly residential, locals easily head a few miles down the highway to Vienna or Unadilla for groceries, dining, and schools. For anyone drawn to classic southern countryside, minimal traffic, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, Pinehurst provides a calm and simple place to call home.
