Pinetop-Lakeside is a scenic mountain town in Navajo County, Arizona, incorporated in 1984 when the neighboring communities of Pinetop and Lakeside merged. The name Lakeside honors the area's numerous natural lakes, while Pinetop was named after the nickname of Walt Rigney, a pioneer saloon owner.
