Pitkas Point is a remote census-designated place in the Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska, situated on the south bank of the Yukon River. The community has a population of approximately one hundred and twenty residents, predominantly Alaska Native. The Lower Yukon School District operated the local Pitkas Point School until its closure in 2012, after which students began attending school in neighboring St. Mary's.
