Pocomoke City is a commercial city in Worcester County, Maryland, situated along the south bank of the Pocomoke River. Originally settled in the late seventeenth century as Stevens Landing and featuring the Sturgis One Room School Museum, the community of approximately 4,405 is served by the Worcester County Public Schools district for local education.
