Port Colden, NJ

Port Colden is a quiet, historic community tucked inside Washington Township in Warren County, New Jersey. Home to fewer than 300 residents, the neighborhood sits right at the base of Upper Pohatcong Mountain. It originally grew in the 19th century as a key stop along the Morris Canal, named after canal company president Cadwallader Colden when boats regularly stopped at the local basin.
