Port Graham, AK

Located near the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, Port Graham, also known by its Alutiiq name Paluwik, is a small coastal village of around 160 residents. Since the community is off the road system, travel and mail rely on small bush planes and boats out of Homer. Life here is deeply rooted in tradition, with commercial fishing, subsistence harvesting, and jobs at the local school and tribal offices anchoring daily routines. It offers a remote, tight-knit lifestyle centered around the waters of Port Graham Bay.
