Port Republic, NJ

Tucked along Nacote Creek and the Mullica River in Atlantic County, Port Republic gives residents a peaceful escape surrounded by the New Jersey Pinelands. Officially a city, it feels much more like a sleepy historic village where people know their neighbors. The town dates back to before the Revolutionary War, and today you will find quiet residential roads, historic homes, and easy access to the water for kayaking and fishing. It also remains a dry town, which keeps the area quiet while still being an easy commute to the Jersey Shore.
