About Port Salerno

Port Salerno is a Martin County fishing community on the southern shore of the St. Lucie River inlet. In the 1920s, a small settlement grew around the waterfront, and the yacht port later became known for World Fishing Tournaments. That fishing and boating identity still gives Port Salerno more character than many coastal suburbs. The community has seafood restaurants, marinas, older homes, and access to Stuart and the Treasure Coast. It feels working-waterfront and local, not just beach-resort Florida.
