Poseyville, IN

Originally settled in the 1840s as a stagecoach stop called Palestine, Poseyville changed its name a few years later when the post office discovered another Indiana town had already claimed it. Tucked into northern Posey County, the town grew outward from its traditional Main Street surrounded by quiet farmland. Today, it holds onto that classic small-town feel, offering a peaceful, close-knit setting within an easy drive of Interstate 64 and Evansville.

Daily life here centers on neighborhood staples like the historic Carnegie library, local parks, and the community center. Families are served by the North Posey school district, where local athletics and school events bring everyone together.
