Potter Lake, WI

Potter Lake is a Walworth County census-designated place organized around a 155-acre lake in the Town of East Troy. The lake sits in a shallow depression at the base of a moraine, has about 2.2 miles of shoreline, and reaches a maximum depth of 26 feet. Its name comes from John Fox Potter, an early East Troy settler who established his farm beside the water in 1838.
