Harmon Park concentrates several Prairie Village public amenities in one complex: an inclusive playground, skate park, disc golf, ten tennis courts, and the municipal pool. The 2026 pool calendar includes swim and dive practices, meets, moonlight swims, a VillageFest free-swim period, and reciprocal SuperPass admission at pools in Fairway, Mission, and Roeland Park. Franklin Park adds a half-mile path, play stream, ballfield, four multipurpose fields, and year-round restrooms, while smaller parks supply bocce, a zip line, nature play, and display gardens. The Corinth branch of Johnson County Library opens seven days and provides computers, Wi-Fi, meeting and study rooms, a scanner, charging lockers, a blood-pressure station, and access by bus and county microtransit. The branch opened in 1963 and is now the library system's oldest facility; replacement planning continues in 2026 after structural concerns and an earlier shared-campus proposal prompted a search for a different site.
